I always paid close attention in my mother’s kitchen. My earliest recollections, are in the kitchen, with my mother and grandmother telling stories, laughing, and preparing food together. Her special recipes were passed down for generations in our family. Mouthwatering aromas drifted through our home as the meat slow roasted for hours. When it was finally served, her pork was succulent and bursting with flavor. I loved helping my mother and my grandmother prepare food and developed a passion for cooking early in life.
